Back in 2004 I first recorded 'this wires' and put it online as Lamb on the land.
I've been inspired by the harp Alan Lamb built with Scott Baker and continue to record it. Hear some wind-generated sounds here
Self-promotion
Here's a 'live' Bassling track on Ninja Trax 11: Performance. To be honest I've only been drumming for a year and playing three instruments simultaneously was a bit of a stretch for me. You can see how it was done in this video.
YOUR
G'day, there's a new bassling album I've put online. To be honest it feels a bit like a draft of a bunch of tunes but there are some good ones.
You might have heard the best ones already in the Antipodean Relay Mix. Then again, it's got a bunch of other stuff I haven't polished to the point of frustration.
And, typing of frustration, here's a video mix I started but found to be a bit of a dead end/

Unsound06
This is the performance by Josie, my partner in chime, and myself for the Wagga Space Program's Unsound06. We'd spent the week with Alan Lamb absorbing as much of his experience as we could and preparing the aeolian harp he built with Scott Baker for the previous Unsound festival.
Shame there was no wind, we improvised instead. The sound is recorded acoustically through the polystyrene boxes, not the signal off the peizo pick-ups that was broadcast to the Loco Motivus rolling site for the audience.
